Our First Lady

Evangelist Delores Ferguson is the Co-Pastor of World Deliverance Temple (WDT) along side her husband Bishop Roy D. Ferguson who is the Pastor and Founder of the ministry. With a spirit of love, generosity and compassion; Evangelist Ferguson does whatever her hands find to do to uplift the ministry and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.

As the spiritual leader for all of the women of WDT, she coordinates the Annual Women's Conference and has held many retreats for women to encourage and unify them to aspire higher in God. Evangelist Ferguson's love for the women of the ministry inspired her to create a ministry that would empower women while building the kingdom of God. Thus, the "Women of Charity" was designed to provide food baskets, clothing, shoes and counseling for those who are in need.

Evangelist Ferguson was saved at the tender age of eleven in Hapeville, Ga., at a neighborhood tent revival meeting. After graduating from high school in 1965, she moved to Detroit, MI and joined the International Gospel Center, under the leadership of Apostle Charles O. Miles, where she continued to grow spiritually and serve faithfully in many capacities. She was a lead singer (Let's Go Higher) on the first recorded album at the International Gospel Center. She worked as an Evangelistic team member on various crusades that Apostle Miles conducted, both nationally and internationally.

The Lord has blessed Evangelist Ferguson with the gift of "songs" and she has harmoniously lead the Praise Team Ministry at WDT. Not only is she an anointed songbird, but she is a powerful speaker who has been ordained by God to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ! God has given her electrifying messages entitled "Shake Yourself Loose", "I Won't Go Back!", "Desperate for Jesus!" and "Lost in the House."

Evangelist Ferguson has traveled extensively throughout the world including several trips to the Holy Land, enthusiastically carrying out the evangelistic work she was called to do.

In 2004, she received National Certification as a Certified Counselor through the Friends International Christian University. She is, also, a member of the Joint College of African-American Pentecostal Bishops Wives Institute. She was, also, honored as Woman of the Year by the women of World Deliverance Temple in 2007, and furthermore, a recipient of the 2009 Madge Ivory Davis Award presented by the Women of Destiny of Southfield, MI.

Evangelist Delores Ferguson has been married to Bishop Roy D. Ferguson for 41 years and together they have three on-fire-for-God adult children, Brandon and twins Lindsey and Jemika Ferguson who all work in the ministry.
