Prison Ministry Team Our ministers visit inmates in state and city prisons/jails to offer support and encouragement through a message of the love of Jesus Christ.
Kidz Zone Child Care Qualified staff members provide excellent care to children (infants to 5 years of age) in a loving, caring environment. Latch-key is offered daily for 5 to 12 years of age. Summer Camp is, also, offered during the summer months.
Transportation Ministry Transports members and visitors to and from church on a weekly basis. Plans include expanding service to include transportation to medical appointments.
Expectant Mother's Ministry This ministry reaches out to pregnant mothers to provide counseling and spiritual support through birth and at least 1 year of post-birth support.
Women of Charity Women of God led by the First Lady Delores Ferguson to meet the needs of the community by providing food and clothing to families and individuals in need.
Prayer Partners Ministry Anointed members who understand the importance of continuous prayer for the ministry and the world at large. Individual and corporate prayer is practiced daily.
YOUTH OUTREACH PROGRAMS Goal: To maximize positive interactions reduce the number of young people in the Metropolitan area involved with crime, drug abuse and other at-risk behavior.
1. Youth Ushers Young people know how to serve at WDT. Every 4th and 5th Sunday you will find them on duty, dressed to serve and excited about living for the Lord.
2. Youth Mine Ministry If you want to experience the gift of mine in an anointed way, watch the WDT Youth minister via mine. They are extraordinary and second to none!
3. Youth Drama Ministry Lights! Camera! Action! The drama team at WDT is better than Hollywood or BET. These young people are talented, anointed and chosen by God.
4. Youth Choir (Anointed Symphanie) The youth choir consists of children who range from three to 18 years of age.This choir was named in honor of one of our precious angels who went on to be with the Lord.Their voices are truly a symphony from heaven.
5. Praise Dancers Watching these young people praise God through dance is an anointed experience.They perform for church services and attend special events at other locations.
6. Media Ministry This talented group of young people manage sound equipment, computer and data projection systems to enhance the worship experience at WDT.
Deacon Board – Their contribution to the ministry is essential. They support the ministry by uplifting the pastor and managing the day to day operations.
Nurses Board – This group of trained medical staff comforts and meets the physical needs of those that are being ministered to during service times.
Usher Board – Serves the congregation and all that come through the doors with warm greetings, hospitality and friendly directions as they enjoy the powerful worship experience at WDT.
Inspirational Choir – Talented and highly anointed singers that lift the congregation with musical praise weekly.
Men’s Chorale – This group of dedicated sanctified men sing every 4th Sunday. Their ministry through song is powerful and inspired by God.
Children’s Church – Children need to learn about the Lord in an environment that is conducive and able to meet their diverse needs. Children ages two to twelve LOVE to attend children's church. They sing, worship and praise the Lord led by spirit filled adult worshipers.
Pastor’s Support Ministry – This dedicated group supports the pastor and the first lady by furnishing relief with harmonious and caring assistance. This includes planning for yearly events and other tasks that may arise.
Health Education Ministry – Trained medical professionals conduct seminars on a quarterly basis to provide important health care information, assist people in reducing the risk of serious illness and/or manage existing chronic conditions.
